What's it about?
IN MOURNING, LOVE LIVES ON – SAYING GOODBYE WITH DIGNITY Suffering, grief, and death are inseparable parts of our lives. Nevertheless, we often find it difficult to talk about dying, to say farewell, and to give space to the pain of loss. Insights from logotherapy and personal reflections open a space for contemplation, pause, comfort, and hope at this event. We will consider what can support those who are grieving, how relationships can remain meaningful beyond death, and what attitude can help us meet the dying with dignity, respect, and compassion. The lecture aims primarily to encourage reaching out to people in their final phase of life – even when we lack the right words. Because often, no grand answers are needed. Sometimes, it is enough to be present, to listen, to hold a hand, and to endure together what can no longer be changed. For in grief, we see how deeply we have loved.
