OUR PARISH CHURCH ST. LAURENTIUS Who was St. Laurentius and why is he so popular? How can one still read the different construction phases on the building today? Why was the late Gothic vault removed? What was the significance of the charnel house? Why is the church tower so high? And why did the Loiser councilmen sit so close to the altar? Answers to these questions and insights into the architecture, furnishings, and special features of our parish church will be provided this evening through pictures, explanations, and background stories.
