What's it about?
KINODIENSTAG FILMREIHE - DER PINGUIN MEINES LEBENS The grumpy teacher Tom comes from England to Buenos Aires in the 1970s to teach English at a boys' boarding school. Amidst the unrest of the military coup, his students are rebellious and unteachable – a real challenge for Tom. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when he saves a penguin from an oil-polluted beach one day. Despite all efforts, the animal refuses to leave him and moves into Tom's terrace. It becomes a loyal companion for Tom – and for the students, the 'Penguin of Trust.' Because penguins are not only incredibly cute but also excellent listeners... Based on the novel of the same name by Tom Michell. DATE: 03.11.2026 19:30 TIME LOCATION: Arkadensaal Rudolfstraße 1, 3550 Langenlois TICKETS: € 5.
