Public Moor Tour in the Nature Park

What's it about?

In 1.5 hours, discover the nature park on this hike with our nature guides and learn all sorts of interesting facts about the Waldviertel Wackelsteine (rocking stones), carnivorous plants, and unique moor frogs. The hike leads on paved paths past the natural monument "Hängender Stein" (Hanging Stone) to the open moorland. From the boardwalk, special moor plants can be observed up close. In the moor treading facility, there is the opportunity to experience the centuries-old peat and its healing effects firsthand. After the hike, the sun terrace at the nature park center entices with homemade pastries and small refreshments. A large nature playground awaits children.
