Birgit Denk - Allgesang - "Liebeslieder"
What's it about?
In the Nordic countries, it is a tradition, and in Estonia even a UNESCO-protected cultural heritage. The communal singing, with good friends, colleagues, and even strangers. Birgit Denk, an experienced singer and moderator, brought many celebrities to sing in her ORF III program "DENK mit Kultur". Even those who thought they couldn't sing. As we know, singing boosts good mood, and especially in the beautiful setting of Vindobona, it will be a special evening when the most well-known "Hadern" (hesitators) sing together with guidance from Birgit and a wonderful keyboardist, with texts clearly visible on stage for everyone. Background stories about the songs are naturally included, and no one will be excluded or asked to be silent, as in school days. Each evening is under a different star, with a different motto, and is unique. Let us come together and experience what makes us human and society. Let us build bridges with the songs we know and love. Experience something together, not digitally, but entirely analog.
