Wolfgang Böck - Trautmann lacht
What's it about?
With the highly lifelike portrayal of police inspector Trautmann, character actor Wolfgang Böck has written a piece of local TV history. A TV character that has maintained its incredible popularity even after numerous reruns. The Vienna police even respectfully appointed him as an "honorary Kieberer" (a traditional Viennese title). The new stage program "Trautmann lacht" aims to show that daily police work is not only about murder, robbery, and other brutal crimes. Indeed, funny anecdotes written by great humorists demonstrate, on one hand, the sometimes warm-hearted handling of curious incidents by the uniformed officers, but also that law enforcement officers do not forbid themselves laughter on duty and can sometimes even laugh at themselves with a hearty wink. Wolfgang Böck has spent months gathering stories and anecdotes through "criminalistic" meticulous work, which guarantee not only 90 minutes of hearty laughter but also offer a brief yet highly interesting glimpse into the history of law enforcement.
