What's it about?
"Now it's about the person who is closest to me: Me! Me! Me!" This is what is presented to us in politics, social media, and in the kindergarten WhatsApp group. We live in a society full of winners, where everyone wants to be first, yes, must be first. Those who come in second have already lost, been left behind, fallen off the track. These forces also influence Thomas Mraz, and therefore for him now: MRAZ FIRST! However, he has rarely — very rarely — actually never — been first at anything. It is high time for Mraz, in his first solo program, to confront his big questions: Is he aiming to become chairman of the allotment garden club? Will he open his sausage stand, just like he used to know it? Is he old enough to apply for the corridor pension? Is he a well-traveled cosmopolitan or a proletarian from Favoriten? Or both? And most importantly: Is he really such an egoist as everyone else?
