About Philipp Griessler Philipp Griessler is a singer-songwriter, composer, author, and singer. He began writing German-language songs at the age of 15. With 4 albums to date, he has played his way into the hearts of his fans and onto the playlists of local radio stations; his latest album, "Von Anfang an" (From the Beginning), was released in 2024. He takes the audience on a musical journey through autobiographical life stages and interpersonal poetry. Griessler always strikes the right note for the sound of the times and offers very personal insights into his life. He is more than just a musician: he is a storyteller, an observer of society, and an artist who understands how to transform images into dialect music. The 2025 tour calendar was packed with numerous concerts and appearances, such as in Prater Wien, at Kultursommer Purkersdorf, at the summer night concert in Aurach bei Kitzbühel, on Sörgerberg in St. Veit an der Glan, and at the Long Night of Viennese Markets. Atmospheric Advent concerts took him to Vienna and Eisenstadt, among other places, as well as to the benefit for Licht ins Dunkel in the Passionsspielhaus. He presented his music in radio interviews and TV appearances. In 2026, he will again be touring all over Austria. The nature-loving artist was born in 1972 on the outskirts of Vienna and grew up with a lot of music in his family. He has lived in the Triestingtal since 1997. In 2022, the singer-songwriter put his love for Lower Austria and his idea of home into the single "Vision," with which he reached the final of the singer-songwriter competition "Dein Lied für Niederösterreich" (Your Song for Lower Austria). Mindfulness and down-to-earthness are important to him. In addition to music, Griessler is involved in youth and social work.
