20 Jahre Festival Klangbrücke - Zwischen Oxford und Olymp

What's it about?

25 years of Klangbrücke - This special anniversary must of course be celebrated with a festive concert. The program features two masterpieces of classical music: Joseph Haydn's famous "Oxford Symphony," a work full of elegance, musical wit, and tonal sophistication, as well as Mozart's radiant "Jupiter Symphony," his last symphony and a highlight of classical music. The program is complemented by selected works by Georg Friedrich Händel among others, spanning the musical range from the Baroque to the Viennese Classical period. Anton Gabmayer conducts, known as an expert on Haydn, who brings the works to life with great stylistic knowledge and personal passion for a memorable anniversary experience.
