Her musical programs featuring her own songs, as well as chansons by Édith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and Kurt Weill, continue to be among her greatest successes. Encouraged by Édith Piaf's motto: 'When I sing, that is me,' she began to write and compose her own songs.
