What's it about?

It all started with the idea of initiating a provincial youth jazz orchestra. Since then, a decade and a half has passed, and the up-and-coming ensemble has established itself as a fixture in the local music scene. With great joy in playing, professional skill, and authentic big band sound, the approximately 20 musicians thrill audiences on the stages of important jazz clubs and open-air festivals at home and abroad. The history of the Youth Jazz Orchestra Lower Austria has always been inextricably linked with Andreas Pranzl.
