What's it about?

WILDE ZEIT EP Der Nino aus Wien writes: what an ep. wild time. I'll never forget it. everything in the room. freezing, heating, flashing. window-lying. 7th district. Vienna downtown almost. they say 5 weeks, I think more like 4 months. how it sounds now is how it was. Manu reproduced it perfectly. really dealt with it. songs written in January. all in January 2025. with some time and operations. with trips to the cellar. with strolling. scribbled notes in pockets. we all learned something. the first song is absolutely my favorite song. dearest since Taxi Driver, at least. never done before. the second flew in like a dove. when I was already going home one night. fits. the third with the addiction...my grandparents always said: "addiction is a dog". interesting characters. the fourth song written on the same day as the second. that's rare. get out! it's spring-like! it's great to make an EP after 19 albums. a cool format. like a short story. a good quarter of an hour, that's how long you normally stand at Tichy. I can listen to it myself. love the sound. have a connection to all songs. long days and nights that passed quickly. time flies. a coherent thing. I enjoyed telling the story. sitting, standing and walking I thank Pedro, my room cactus for his silent presence. if he didn't like the music, he would have died already. "it's good that you were there to be." the music is at least as important to me as the "lyrics". a "you" can mean many things. I love writing songs. "When I left I was 16. And at 37 I stand here." 9/10 PS: this EP is for me a cousin, or a half-sister of the Nino aus Wien production "Adria" from 2016. they are somehow related, albeit different in character, behavior and appearance.
