The once Golden Market Weyer – a pulsating center of iron transport – can look back on an eventful history. Shaped by Turkish sieges, fires, Reformation and Counter-Reformation, and by the hammer lord families, their traces are still clearly visible in the market today. The lecture is a perfect preparation for the market walk, which Ms. Schmölz regularly offers.
