What's it about?
Does this sound familiar to you? You open the newspaper, turn on the computer, switch on the TV, or turn on the radio and at the same moment despair because all these channels try to convince you that the end of the world is imminent? Environmental disasters, war, and terror everywhere you look... And as if there weren't enough horrors on our planet already - Christmas comes around again every year! Advertising at every corner (which we of course obediently follow), the constant noise of consumerism and mulled wine, irritation from fairy lights and decorations for the overwhelmed eye, 'mood!' & 'contemplation!' in the hearts brought out of sync with the 'quietest time of the year,' and - and this is probably the bitterest drop in the overly sweet Christmas punch - the poor, environmentally often defenseless ear is mercilessly bombarded with acoustic phenomena that make some people's eyes water with emotion, while others sweat cold panic. Wouldn't you also just like to completely disconnect from the global Christmas machinery? Escape into the perfect world of the most beautiful hits of the 50s and 60s by Caterina, Vico, Connie, Peter, Udo, and of course Peter the Great? Sometimes I feel that way too, and that's why there is this special evening. Let's forget the worries of the world for a short while and surrender to our most longing dreams - so that we can face reality again refreshed afterwards! If it's kitsch, then truly valuable kitsch!
