Einführung in das Djembe-Spiel
What's it about?
Would you like to start drumming but are not yet ready to join a continuous course group? Are you interested in learning the essentials of playing the Djembe, the most internationally known and popular drum, in just a few hours? I offer a compact and well-founded introduction: • the correct posture • the main striking techniques • a few simple basic rhythms • some rules for playing together in a group No musical prior knowledge is required! This basic course will enable you to participate in an advanced course and play simple roles in the group. Playing together with experienced musicians offers one of the fastest ways to learn. You will learn the necessary fundamentals in this crash course. Bring your own instrument if you have one; if not, please inform us at registration, and I will gladly bring drums for the first try.
