GRAM PARSONS TRIBUTE BAND live in Mank. "Cosmic American Music" was what Gram Parsons called his version of country, West Coast, rock'n'roll, and all musical shades in between. With the Byrds and the Flying Burrito Brothers, he went on a country-rock trip, brought Emmylou Harris into the Americana spotlight, and inspired the Stones to write "Wild Horses." In 1973, at the age of 26, Gram's earthly journey ended. However, his "Cosmic American Music" continues to live on today. On the occasion of his 80th birthday, the local Americana community pays musical tribute to this exceptional artist of rock history. The performers: Herby Dunkel: vocals, guitar Inga Lynch: vocals Dominik Plangger: vocals, guitar Janne Kliegl: vocals Robert Tauber: vocals, guitar Claudia Fenzl: violin Helmut Mitteregger: mandolin, guitar Mäx Mayerhofer: pedal steel Rob Niedl: drums Roman Kovacs: bass Ben Brokke: keyboards Alex Gantz: guitar
