First Aid Course - Refreshing Lifesaving Knowledge

Refreshing lifesaving knowledge. In an emergency, there is no time to think. Those who regularly refresh their first aid knowledge take responsibility and create the security to act correctly at the decisive moment. To ensure that actions and procedures remain reliably retrievable in an emergency, the Red Cross Lilienfeld – St. Aegyd offers an eight-hour first aid refresher course on Sunday, October 4, 2026. This consists of a four-hour online theory part via e-learning, which is completed in advance, and four hours of practical exercises at the district office in Lilienfeld, Liese Prokop Straße 8, from 09:00 to 13:00. Participants will have the opportunity to update the simple but enormously important actions for life-saving immediate measures, practice different emergency situations, and deepen their knowledge. "First aid is a responsibility we can all take on. Those who know how to react correctly in an emergency give those affected valuable time and security. That's why it's so important to regularly refresh one's own knowledge," explains Iris Kellersperg, team leader for external training at the Red Cross Lilienfeld – St. Aegyd. This course serves as proof of refreshment (to the extent of 8 hours) in the sense of §40 AStV for company first responders. Registration deadline is September 19, 2026.
