To ensure that important first aid measures are performed confidently, it is worthwhile to regularly refresh your knowledge and practical skills. The Red Cross Lilienfeld – St. Aegyd is organizing a four-hour first aid refresher course on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the district office, Liese Prokop Straße 8 in Lilienfeld. From 09:00 to 13:00, participants will have the opportunity to update their first aid knowledge. The refresher course builds on the content of the basic first aid course and primarily focuses on practical skills in various emergency situations to ensure life-saving immediate measures can be performed confidently in an emergency. "First aid lives through action. Those who practice regularly gain confidence and can react faster in an emergency. We want to strengthen exactly this sense of action with our refresher course," emphasizes Philipp Schalko, head of the department at the Red Cross in the district. This course serves as proof of the completed refresher (4 hours) according to §40 AStV for workplace first responders. Registration deadline is October 24, 2026.
