In the impressive Abbey Basilica of the Cistercian monastery of Lilienfeld, founded in 1202 and one of Austria's most significant medieval monastic complexes, the power of human voices in their most beautiful form will resound at the Choir Festival. Talented choirs will present their carefully rehearsed performances on this Sunday from 6 PM, transforming the imposing church acoustics of the Basilica into an unforgettable sound experience. The festival is aimed at everyone who wants to experience choir music in a historical setting, combining musical excellence with the spiritual flair of one of Lower Austria's oldest church buildings. The harmonious sounds of the choirs unfold a very special depth in the Romanesque-Gothic church interior, creating an atmosphere that goes far beyond an ordinary concert.
