Kleinzeller Kinoabend - Der Gott des Gemetzels
What's it about?
The Kleinzeller Cinema Evening presents "Carnage", a film by Roman Polanski based on the play of the same name by Yasmina Reza. Two eleven-year-olds get into a fight on a playground, during which one of the boys loses teeth. The parents of the "victim" have invited the parents of the "perpetrator" to resolve the incident like reasonable people. What begins as a peaceful exchange about civilization, violence, and the limits of responsibility soon develops into a quarrel full of contradictions and grotesque prejudices. Eventually, the thin veneer of bourgeois civility cracks: four adults lose their composure... Cast: Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, John C. Reilly. (Source: constantinfilm.at)
