What's it about?

On September 25, 2026, the Care and Support Center (PBZ) Hainfeld will open its doors from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM and warmly invites interested visitors to get to know the building, its staff, and the daily life of the residents. What actually happens in a care and support center? What does the daily routine of the residents look like? What care and support services are available, and who ensures that the residents feel well cared for every day? Answers to these and many other questions will be provided at the open house on September 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. No prior registration is required. At numerous information booths, visitors will gain interesting insights into the various areas of the house. Topics range from admission to the PBZ, different forms of care, aromatherapy, and activity programs to personnel management and catering. Staff from the fields of nursing, therapy, and support, as well as volunteer coordination and administration, will be available in person to share their daily work. They will not only present the daily tasks but also show how the residents are cared for at the PBZ and how their everyday life and home are structured. A behind-the-scenes look at the kitchen Food and beverages are also provided: the kitchen manager invites visitors with a "Small greeting from the kitchen" to learn more about the catering area. Guests will not only receive a tasting but also gain interesting insights into the processes and challenges of the kitchen. In the cafeteria, homemade pastries await. The daily special of coffee and cake at a special price invites visitors to relax and socialize. Guided tours of the house Those who want to explore the PBZ in person can join regularly scheduled guided tours to get to know different areas of the house and gain an authentic impression of life and living at the PBZ. The open house offers a good opportunity to ask questions and experience care and support up close.
