29. Guinness Irish Christmas Festival
What's it about?
What will 'Santy' bring this Christmas? First, there's the magnificent harpist Laoise Kelly, celebrated as the 'Jimi Hendrix of the Celtic Harp.' The Canadian sisters Cassie & Maggie MacDonald draw from the treasure of their Scottish ancestors and enchant with guitar, piano, two-part singing, and step dancing. Last but not least, we look forward to one of the cult figures of contemporary traditional Irish Folk: Mike McGoldrick comes with his McGoldrick Family to perform on the courtyard stage. An annual must-see — not only for Ireland fans! Featuring Laoise Kelly, Cassie & Maggie, and The McGoldrick Family.
