What's it about?

The Lower Austria Chamber of Agricultural Workers (NÖ Landarbeiterkammer) is expanding its service offering!As the statutory representative body for employees in agriculture and forestry, the NÖ Landarbeiterkammer serves almost 30,000 members annually throughout Lower Austria, including seasonal workers and pensioners affiliated with the chamber. Its members include employees in Raiffeisen warehouses, agricultural production businesses (e.g., viticulture, fruit growing, vegetable farming, and arable farming), as well as in nurseries, tree nurseries, and forestry operations."Direct contact with our members is very important to us," emphasizes NÖ LAK President Andreas Freistetter. In addition to free advice on labor law issues, the NÖ LAK offers its members a wide range of subsidies and its own agriculture and forestry-specific education and training program. For foreign employees, information sheets with basic labor law information (minimum wage, working hours, vacation, etc.) are offered in 12 different languages.
