The cratered Moon surface is visible early in the evening, and the ring planet Saturn is an object throughout the night. The Moon and the ring planet Saturn are objects of the evening sky. From October 31, 2026, to April 2, 2027, the NOE Volkssternwarte 3074 Michelbach will be closed for winter break. ADMISSION to the observatory grounds is 30 minutes before the start of the tour. PUBLIC TOURS No registration required ADMISSION FEES EUR 12.00 / Adults EUR 9.00 / Students (19 – 26) EUR 7.00 / Youth (6 – 19) EUR 30.00 / Family ticket (up to 5 persons) The entrance fees are used solely for the maintenance of the observatory and additional equipment. Please understand that NO dogs are allowed at our tours. The observatory grounds are video-monitored and SMOKE-FREE! Parents are responsible for their children! A request to youth: NO shoes with flashing lights! – a disturbance to the dark night sky!
