But what are the effects of the digital world on development, health, and social life? The lecture examines, among other things, manipulative mechanisms in apps and games, the impact of high screen time on sleep, rest, and concentration, as well as the effects of social media trends on self-perception and mental health. The increasing use of AI and the question of how to foster a healthy handling of digital media within families are also discussed.
