What's it about?
I create individual unique pieces and small series with distinctive details. Freely thrown on the potter's wheel, decorated, partially glazed, and fired at least twice, each piece develops its own unique personality. Even series consist of a range of individual pieces; no two are alike. I use different clay bodies, engobes, and glazes, including natural clay and ash glazes. My favorite forms are organic, dynamic ones that reflect the touch of my fingers during the working process. Small irregularities in shape and color, traces of the working process and the tools and materials used, dots, stamp details, and brushstrokes emphasize the individual character of my work.
