Protection from cold, rain, and wind are among the most important basics of survival in nature. Just one night without adequate shelter can, depending on the weather, become a serious challenge. It is therefore even more important to know how to quickly and effectively construct a simple emergency shelter with available materials. In this 3-hour course, you will learn what matters when choosing a location, selecting materials, and building an emergency shelter. I will also show practical solutions for situations where quick action is needed. The course will cover topics including: - How to select a suitable location and what hazards to consider - Which natural materials can be used for building an emergency shelter - How to construct a simple, stable, and weatherproof shelter - Common mistakes made during construction and how to avoid them - Options available when time for building is limited Are you interested in this topic?
