Vogel piept und flattert in Garten und Park Vögel fördern mit richtiger Gartenpflege

What's it about?

Equipped with spotting scopes and binoculars, we will take a walk through gardens and parks. We observe year-round and winter birds in and around the garden and learn to recognize them by their voices. We will discuss the proper feeding of birds in winter, correct garden maintenance, shrubs with fruits, and more, as well as the Citizen Science project 'Hour of Winter Birds' (first week of January). Children are also welcome if they can stay focused quietly for a longer time. Dress warmly! Please bring your own binoculars, ideally with 8-10x magnification, and a spotting scope if available. The excursion is led by Fr. DI Friedgard Engländer, landscape planner, garden architect, and field ornithologist (BirdLife). Event organized by Biosphärenpark Wienerwald.
