What's it about?
I create individual one-of-a-kind pieces and small series with distinctive details. Each piece is thrown on the pottery wheel, decorated, partially glazed, and fired at least twice, developing its own unique personality. Even series consist of a range of individual items, none of which are identical. I use different clay bodies, engobes, and glazes, including natural clay and ash glazes. My favorite forms are organic and dynamic, reflecting the touch of my fingers during the working process. Small irregularities in shape and color, traces of the working process and the tools and materials used, as well as dots, stamp details, and brushstrokes, emphasize the individual character of my work.
