What's it about?
"It’s snowing, it’s snowing!" The popular children's songwriter has composed Christmas songs for children — but not traditional Christmas carols, rather new, child-appropriate melodies and lyrics around the big holiday. Children and adults are actively involved in the concert and are even allowed to come on stage! It’s no surprise that Bernhard Fibich knows what he’s singing about: he is a father of three children himself... Since 1991, Bernhard Fibich has been working full-time and exclusively as a children's songwriter. Prior to that, he was a teacher at various types of schools and in teacher training. He has a completed university pedagogical education and holds teaching credentials for higher schools in two subjects. Bernhard Fibich performs about 250 solo participatory concerts for children each year. Bernhard Fibich’s concerts include only new songs composed and written by him for children aged 3-11. His participatory concerts are fun, lively, and full of movement for children. The music is child-friendly, catchy, and performed live. Bernhard Fibich accompanies himself and the singing children on the guitar. (Press release)
