What's it about?

After the conclusion of our special exhibition "100 Years of the Steinbach Volunteer Fire Department" (last day: October 11, 2026), only our permanent exhibitions "The Romans in Mauerbach," "Historical Boundary Stones," and "Lohner Sissy-Moped" will be available until November 1, 2026. On November 8, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., we will open the new special exhibition "Would you like a little more? Small grocery stores in Mauerbach – then and now" and present our new publication on this topic. The musical accompaniment for the small celebration will be provided by the Mauerbach Mandolin Ensemble.
