What's it about?

The Lions Club Kirchschlag Bucklige Welt invites you to a humorous journey through the dialect universe in the tri-border area. Refresh your knowledge of the mother tongue of the Heanz‘n, Stoasteirer, and Prägner — with old and new stories by Dr. Karl Panzenböck, Eugen Mayer, and others! Also included are Jägerlatein (hunter's Latin) by Mada Bast and highlights from Latinum Dialecticum Vol. I. The evening will be musically and vocally accompanied — a fitting coincidence — by the Väterbläser, the G’schaidter Mundwerk, and the hunting horn group “jaget auf”. For the nuances in the original regional sounds, the excursion into Jägerlatein, and quirky experiences from the life of a land veterinarian, there will be Franz Strobel, the animal doctor. An evening for listening, smiling, and recognizing — this is how our homeland sounds.
