Fabelhaft Niederösterreich - The Long Night of Stories

What's it about?

For 39 years, this has been the highlight: experience the breathtaking diversity of international storytelling as part of the festival classic. In 2026, under the motto #dreamstories, we want to bring dreams to life and show that every dream can be the beginning of a great story. Through music, storytelling, acting, acrobatics, and much more, we reinterpret the theme of 'dreams' in all its wonderful facets and transform simple moments into 'magical experiences.' During the Long Night of Stories, be captivated and touched by artists from around the world — experience how they connect and inspire with their stories. Founded 39 years ago as the Long Night of Storytellers, this event still features artists of different origins, cultures, and religions today. Participating artists include Folke Tegetthoff – storyteller & fairy tale poet (Austria), Julia Lacherstorfer – violin (Austria), Ferruccio Cainero – storyteller (Italy), Vladyslav Holda – juggling (Ukraine), Peter Shub – clowning (USA). #kulturnews
