On December 4, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the two authors Nadja Flickinger and Daniel Stögerer will present their books at the parish hall, Hauptstraße 22, 2852 Hochneukirchen-Gschaidt. Both are closely connected to the region. Daniel Stögerer, born in 1997, spent his early years in the Schwarzen Graben near Hattmansdorf, and his novel "Luzia – Childhood Between Two Wars" tells the story of his great-grandmother. She was placed in care as a child and spent her first years in Vienna during the interwar period. Due to the economic crisis, she was sent as a servant to a farm near Hochneukirchen, which gradually became her new home. Nadja Flickinger, born in 1968, lives in Hochneukirchen and works as a psychologist and visual artist. In her book "Perlmuttliebe," she narrates autofictional short stories about moments that leave an imprint on life. They deal with fears, doubts, losses, but also with solutions, decisions, and hopeful turns. Her protagonists – she and he – are nameless and represent people that any of us could know. Together, they look forward to an enjoyable evening with books, conversations, and meaningful encounters. Admission is free. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
