The Hoodoo Men play electric Chicago Blues, as it was performed in small ensembles on Maxwell Street in Chicago during the 1950s. This formation offers the opportunity to strip blues down to its core without the sometimes overdone arrangements of today. Details about the musicians: Peter Samek, vocals, harmonica, slide guitar. Blues enthusiast Gerry Höller, vocals, guitar, backing vocals. (Blues enthusiast) Wolfgang Leinweber, washboard and spoons. Lovesick – are Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi from Italy. They bring captivating vintage sound to the stage! The duo is known for their love of American country, rock'n'roll, and Western Swing of the 40s and 50s – authentic, charming, and with a healthy dose of groove. Paolo effortlessly switches between electric and acoustic guitar, lap steel, resonator, and Dobro, while Francesca keeps the rhythm going with the double bass and her built-in brush pad. Together, they create more sound than one might expect from two people – with wonderfully harmonious singing and a touch of nostalgia. Lovesick takes their audience on a musical journey back in time – straight into the glittering era of rock'n'roll!
