Invitation to a day trip organized by the Pensionistenverband of the Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn local group: On Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Schloss Orth on the Danube, we will visit the National Park Lounge in the foyer, see the new National Park exhibition "free and wild" on the first floor, and on the second floor, the museumORTH, which covers the everyday history of the Danube community Orth, and life on and with the great river. An elevator is available. Free entry once with the NÖ-Card (card must be shown). Lunch break at the "Uferhaus" in Orth on the Danube (self-pay). Continuing to Schwechat. Vienna Airport tour: On a circuit around the airport apron, you can experience airport activities up close and observe exciting take-offs and landings from near. In the experience area, a multimedia installation shows a flight from the cockpit perspective, we learn about the journey of a suitcase, and view the airport from the virtual perspective of a air traffic controller in the tower. The busy 24-hour operation of the airport is made tangible in a spectacular time-lapse film. Schedule: 08:00 am: Departure from Lindabrunn Brunnen to Enzesfeld train station.
