First Aid Course for Emergencies in Childhood
What's it about?
How to respond correctly when a child suddenly becomes ill, gets injured, or stops breathing? A first aid course on November 7, 2026, at Leovital provides the necessary knowledge to act quickly and correctly in such situations. Led by Thomas Kaltenecker from the Samariterbund, eight hours of theory and practice will cover important measures for emergencies involving infants and children. Course content: Recognizing dangers, calling emergency services, and the rescue chain; Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for infants and children according to the latest guidelines; First aid for sudden illnesses and poisoning; Childhood diseases and common injuries; Accident prevention. Thanks to financial support from the market community of Leobersdorf, the participation fee is 20 euros per person. Participants will receive a certificate of participation.
