Repair Café

What's it about?

Most people are now familiar with this: the electric kettle turns off for the last time two days after the warranty ends, the favorite toy car of the little ones sputters after a hard fall onto the ground, or the laptop starts to whine like a jumbo jet during takeoff. A Repair Café is an event where people who prefer to repair broken devices rather than buy new ones meet others who can help with repairs. Tools, certain spare parts, and experience are provided free of charge. Those who do not have anything to repair can also socialize with others over coffee and snacks.
