Viktor Frankl - Childhood & Career
What's it about?
Viktor Frankl was born in Vienna in 1905. His childhood also fell during the First World War. Poverty was no stranger to him. We do not know what moved this young man to give his first lecture on the meaning of life at the age of 15. As a student, he began a correspondence with Sigmund Freud. He began to study medicine and dealt extensively with psychotherapy. At 24, he founded a youth counseling center. At 25, he used the term "logotherapy" for the first time. But then came National Socialism. Viktor Frankl in the concentration camp Let us together enter a time that should never have existed and recognize that even in the greatest madness of history, glimmers of hope are possible. Viktor Frankl miraculously survived the concentration camp and was not broken as a person.
