Michaela Obertscheider - Vergnügt euch
What's it about?
"I keep photographing friends and then show these pictures to my food." Don't be so sensible! Do less! Have fun! But how? What does "having fun" mean? For the individual? For society? How can we reconcile the longing for a dream job, meaning, and a hammock? And who even has a hat face?! Michaela Obertscheider candidly discusses the shortcomings of people who step into roles. Or into potholes. The eloquent con artist appears as a lecturer on life art and life artificiality. She raves about laziness as an efficient strategy for creativity, but is quite glad she didn't stay on the sofa. Her debut "Vergnügt euch!" is a plea for the joyful playfulness of life. The versatile artist has made an effort to reflect on effortless doing and letting go, and now looks forward to sharing this amusing set of rules with you. Enjoy! Michaela Obertscheider is a freelance artist, born in 1969, working as an author, director, actress, speaker, singer-songwriter, and creativity trainer. Through artistic interventions such as intensive workshops, creative writing lessons, interactive lectures, etc., she promotes individual skills like resilience, rhetorical presence, creative intelligence, and team spirit in one-on-one or team settings. Her book adaptations and productions for adults, children, and adolescents have been successfully performed for many years, including at Vienna's Theater Akzent and Niedermair cabaret theater. She writes and sings chansons. She plays the ukulele. In her free time, she draws and goes for walks. The native Tyrolean has lived and worked in Vienna since 1994.
