Bernhard Egger, host of the "Auf dem roten Stuhl" (On the Red Chair) talk series, meets Roland Düringer and Bernhard Speer - two artists who have a lot to say. Together they talk about successes and setbacks, about steep careers in music and cabaret, about life on and off stage - and about whether full halls can sometimes be unsettling. In the second half of the program, music takes over: Roland Düringer picks up the bass guitar, Bernhard Speer takes the microphone, accompanied by a four-piece band. A captivating mix of humorous anecdotes and very personal songs - and a rare opportunity to experience these two exceptional artists live together! The YouTube channel "Auf dem roten Stuhl" - the talk series founded in 2011 and moderated by Bernhard Egger - repeatedly makes excursions from its digital version into the world of live performances. These combine talk and live music, and the guest list of past shows - from Willi Resetarits and Conchita Wurst, to Thomas Stipsits, Hans Theessink, Alex Kristan, Katharina Straßer, Peter Rapp, Roland Düringer and Hans Krankl to Gery Seidl - is impressive.
