A dream comes true in Baden! The Bühne Baden brings Disney's musical ARIELLE, DIE MEERJUNGFRAU (The Little Mermaid) as the German-language premiere to their stage – a classic of the Disney world! Ariel, the youngest daughter of the sea king Triton, dreams of another world – that of humans. When she rescues Prince Erik from drowning, she develops a desire to become a human herself. But the sea witch Ursula offers her a dangerous bargain: Ariel must give up her voice to live her adventure. Accompanied by her friends, the crab Sebastian and the fish Fabius, Ariel experiences a story full of courage, love, and magic – a fairy tale about growing up, following one's heart, and the power of being different. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, world-famous songs like 'Under the Sea' and 'Part of Your World' that defined the Disney era are performed. Since the Oscar-winning film of 1989, ARIELLE, DIE MEERJUNGFRAU has been one of Disney's greatest successes. Now, this success is brought to Baden as a colorful stage event for the whole family. A magical musical for everyone who dreams of this world!
