Ariel, the youngest daughter of the sea king Triton, dreams of another world – that of humans. When she saves Prince Eric from drowning, the desire to become human herself grows within her. But the sea witch Ursula offers her a dangerous deal: Ariel must sacrifice her voice to live her adventure. Accompanied by her friends, Sebastian the crab and Flounder the fish, Ariel experiences a story full of courage, love and magic – a fairy tale about growing up, following one's own heart, and the power of being different. With music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, world-famous songs like “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World” will be heard, which shaped the Disney era. Since the Oscar-winning film of 1989, ARIELLE, DIE MEERJUNGFRAU has been one of Disney's greatest successes. Now this success in Baden becomes a colorful stage event for the whole family.
