The ambitious but unsuccessful actor Michael Dorsey is on the verge of ending his career - in the industry he is considered complicated and stubborn. The musical adaptation by David Yazbek ("The Band's Visit") and Robert Horn celebrated triumphant success on Broadway in 2019, won several Tony Awards - including for best book of a musical - and thrilled audiences and critics alike with humor, heart and sharp observation.
