Monty Python's Not the Messiah!
What's it about?
A oratorio like you've never heard before! With Monty Python’s NOT THE MESSIAH, Monty Python legend Eric Idle and composer John Du Prez turn the cult film "Life of Brian" into a delightfully quirky concert full of wit, parody, and great music. Here, baroque meets pop, gospel blends with orchestral sound, British humor contrasts with biblical grandeur – a fireworks display between the sacred and the satirical that, with a wink, poses the big questions of life: Who are we? What do we believe? And why do we love to sing about it? This is not an ordinary oratorio, but a musical confession of faith that sees life from its positive side. (Changes reserved)
