
As a very cozy and traditional "Kerwe" (wine festival), this wine festival holds a special position on the last weekend of July. It is familiar and village-like. Guests are always welcome. Between the chain carousel in the old Weinstrasse and the impressive riding school at the old town hall, numerous wineries invite you to celebrate along the Kerwe mile. Palatinate spit roast from the vine-root fire and exquisite wines provide a pleasant tickle for the palate. On Friday, July 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM, a festive church consecration with Pastor Oliver Jaehn and Father Kisito will take place on Jakobusplatz. Afterwards, a small Kerwe parade with musical accompaniment by the Kolpingskapelle Hambach will start from the Jakobuskirche to the Rathausplatz. At 7:00 PM, the Kolpingskapelle Hambach will open the festivities at the old riding school.
