On the occasion of the worldwide Earth Night, the Föhrenberge Nature Park, together with the municipality of Gaaden, invites you to the Long Night of Nature Parks. During an atmospheric night excursion, the path leads to the Kögerl – right into the fascinating world of nocturnal nature.A special highlight of the evening is the butterfly glowing: Native moths and other nocturnal insects are attracted with special light sources and can be observed at close range. The biologists of the Landscape Conservation Association provide exciting insights into the diversity and way of life of these often hidden animals.Away from artificial lighting, the Austrian Astronomical Association invites you to discover the starry sky above the Vienna Woods. Interesting facts about the fauna and flora around Gaaden make the evening a special nature experience for the whole family. Participation is free of charge.
