What's it about?

The birth of a child is a great joy for parents. In their efforts to do everything right, many questions arise, and parents may not have answers at first. All information related to care, breastfeeding, early development of motor skills, language development, and many other topics is offered in mother-parent counseling. Pediatric specialists, general practitioners, and certified pediatric nurses advise parents free of charge in 333 communities in Lower Austria once or twice a month on questions of medical prevention, such as vaccinations, nutrition, and child development. Every third Tuesday of the month, the Lower Austria mother-parent counseling takes place in Ebergassing. The counseling center is located in the multi-purpose hall of the secondary school, Himberger Straße 1. Important notes: Since mother counseling has a preventive function, children who are ill CANNOT be seen during the counseling. They must be referred to their pediatrician or hospital. Likewise, sick parents cannot bring children to the mother counseling.
