What's it about?

As the third Team Österreich Tafel of the Götzendorf district office, we started in Ebergassing on November 11, 2013 – and were able to support 13 clients on the very first distribution day.Today we are part of the Schwechat district office, which supervises a total of four Tafeln. After more than seven years of commitment (as of 2020), our approximately 45 volunteer employees provide about 35 clients with food every Monday. Currently, our team consists of about 42 volunteers who support around 30 to 35 families weekly.Our work would not be possible without the valuable help of regional partners: In addition to local businesses, local farmers regularly contribute food donations to our offerings.A special milestone was the support from Vienna Airport, from which we received our first delivery van. In the meantime, a second vehicle has been provided to us by the association "Helfende Hände".
