16th Summer Night Run

What's it about?

This running event, which has become a tradition among connoisseurs, attracts an international field of starters every year, who appreciate the special flair of the route through the fields of the Heideboden. This leads the runners on an absolutely flat circular course through the Pannonian landscape, framed by wind turbines, towards the sunset.In addition to the main race with a length of 10 km (start at 6:30 PM), which is also counted as part of the "Laufcup Ost", there are races for toddlers and schoolchildren (from 5:30 PM), as well as shortened routes for hobby runners. Numerous Nordic walkers also participate every year. Start and finish are located at the idyllic club grounds of VfB Pama, which, due to its immediate proximity to the playground, offers ideal conditions for families with children.Resource conservation and sustainability are particular concerns for the VfB, and so, in addition to the use of reusable cups, even the winner's trophies are environmentally friendly and made of wood.The special atmosphere of this event lies in the combination of sport, culinary delights, and pleasant encounters.
